FAQ

What are the rules for using Web GIS at nextgis.com?

Web GIS can be used in accordance with NextGIS Terms of Service and User agreement for NextGIS Services. We can also draft and sign a bilateral Contract for use of NextGIS services with your organization if necessary.

Can I change my plan?

Yes, you can switch between plans at any moment. To do that use a plan selector in your profile or send us a request via website or email.

Can I limit access to my web maps and resources?

Permission settings for web maps and other resources are available only for Premium users. If you are a Free or Mini user then all your web maps and data can be read by all users, including guests.

How can I pay for Premium or Mini subscription?

You can buy a subscription with your credit card using a plan selector in your profile. All payments are processed through Stripe.
You can also send us a request for a plan change or an invoice via email.

What happens if I stop paying for Premium?

If you don’t renew your Premium subscription in time, your plan will be downgraded to Free. But since we value privacy of your data, we won’t force open or delete any of your private resources. Instead, one of the two possible scenarios will happen:

  1. Web GIS will be blocked. If at the time of the switch your Web GIS contains private resources or exceeds quantity/volume/types of resources/users allowed on Free plan, your Web GIS will be blocked. You will need to renew your Premium subscription to recover your Web GIS.
  2. Web GIS will be switched to Free. If at the time of the switch your Web GIS contains no private resources and doesn’t exceed any Free plan limits, your Web GIS will be automatically switched to Free, losing Premium functionality.

What happens if I stop paying for Mini?

If you don’t renew your Mini subscription in time, your plan will be downgraded to Free. Then, depending on quantity, volume and types of resources in your Web GIS, one of the two possible scenarios will happen:

  1. Web GIS will be blocked. If at the time of the switch your Web GIS exceeds quantity/volume/types of resources allowed on Free plan, your Web GIS will be blocked. You will need to renew your Mini subscription to recover your Web GIS.
  2. Web GIS will be switched to Free. If at the time of the switch your Web GIS doesn’t exceed any Free plan limits, your Web GIS will be automatically switched to Free, losing Mini functionality.
