NextGIS and EnviroSolutions Partner to Support Open Source Web GIS Adoption

We are happy to announce a new partnership between NextGIS and EnviroSolutions, a Polish company specializing in Open Source GIS solutions, training, integrations, and spatial data systems.

This cooperation creates new opportunities for organizations that want to build modern Web GIS infrastructure based on open technologies.

Local expertise, open technologies

EnviroSolutions has strong experience in Open Source GIS, including QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, spatial databases, GIS automation, plugin development, and professional training. Their work focuses on helping public institutions and private companies manage spatial data more efficiently, automate geospatial workflows, and migrate from proprietary solutions to open technologies.

For NextGIS, this partnership is an important step in making our platform more accessible to Polish-speaking users and organizations. With EnviroSolutions, users in Poland can receive local training, consulting, and implementation support from a team that understands both the technology and the regional GIS context.

A dedicated NextGIS training course

EnviroSolutions has already introduced a dedicated training course: Geospatial Data Management with the NextGIS Platform.

The course is designed for intermediate users and provides a practical introduction to building Web GIS workflows with NextGIS. It covers the main components of the NextGIS ecosystem, including NextGIS Web, QGIS Desktop integration, mobile tools, QuickMapServices, NextGIS Toolbox, NextGIS GeoServices, and NextGIS Data.

Participants learn how to configure NextGIS Web, organize vector and raster resources, manage metadata, publish web maps, set up users and permissions, connect PostGIS databases, work with WMS, WFS, XYZ and other geospatial services, and integrate server-side Web GIS workflows with QGIS Desktop.

The program also includes advanced topics such as data versioning, edit history, conflict resolution in multi-user environments, OGC API, vector tiles, Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF, CORS configuration, CRS management, and ongoing administration of a NextGIS Web instance.

This makes the course especially relevant for teams that want to move from isolated desktop GIS projects to collaborative spatial data infrastructure.

Why this matters

Many organizations already use QGIS and other Open Source GIS tools, but still need a reliable way to organize data, publish maps, manage access, and support teamwork. NextGIS Web was created exactly for this purpose: to connect desktop GIS, web maps, mobile data collection, geospatial services, and multi-user data management in one integrated environment.

Together with EnviroSolutions, we want to make this transition easier for Polish organizations. The partnership combines the NextGIS platform with local expertise in implementation, training, and Open Source GIS workflows.

Looking ahead

We are excited to work with EnviroSolutions and support the growth of the Open Source GIS ecosystem in Poland.

For organizations interested in NextGIS-based spatial data infrastructure, this partnership means easier access to local expertise, practical training, and implementation support.

We look forward to seeing more Polish teams build sustainable, open, and collaborative Web GIS environments with NextGIS and EnviroSolutions.
