Crowdsourcing Voting Station Locations

Did you know that there are more than 90,000 local voting stations in Russia, but there are no maps or geodata for all of these locations? If such opendata did exist, it would create many derivative products (such as maps of election results (example) or the geographic analysis of election results on the local level, etc.), which would ultimately create better, more accurate voting information for the masses.

In an effort to encourage this opendata creation, NextGIS developed a crowdsourcing mapping system that allows anyone to collect data. All you need is register, log in, and select the location(s) that you are interested in. Fix incorrectly placed locations by moving the point around to its proper location, edit attributes/descriptions, or add a comment.
