NextGIS conducted external training for specialists of the Nature Resources and Equity Management Units of the Administration of the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets municipal region, in the course of UNDP/GEF project “Conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity in Russia’s Taymir Peninsula: Maintaining connectivity across the landscape” (official project page). Training, which consisted of introductory lectures, demonstrations, and practical assignments, was practice-oriented and 14 exercises, including some in the following topics, were completed:
