We added a new browser tool to the NextGIS Toolbox collection. For the first time you don’t need a desktop GIS for raster image clustering!
Clustering is a method of breaking an image into fragments based on pixel values. Simply put, like pixels are put into groups.
Input an image with any number of bands. Each band will be used to calculate clusters. You can process satellite or radar images, vegetation indices.
Choose what to use as input: NDVI, three bands in visible range or something else depending on what factors are important for grouping the data.
For example, input radar image of the seaside to form clusters of “ground”, “water” and “ice”. Or an optical image of an area to discern buildings, forests and water bodies.
